Thursday, February 2, 2012. The top was so beat up, but it cleaned up nicely after it was stripped, sanded and stained. I sealed the base with 2 coats of Minwax Paste Wax. The Annie wax seems to take much longer. The top of the table got 3 coats of Tung Oil.

Winter or summer I always love white. With some natural driftwood and rattan it prevents it looking too clinical. I was again imagining my own shop here. Det nærmer seg påske og i år ble det nye påskeegg. Jeg måtte male noen i den gråblå fargen som jeg har blandet selv. Har falt fullstendig for denne nyansen. Jeg klarte ikke å holde malingspenselen unna disse franske dørene, så de ble lysnet litt med Annie Sloane kalkmaling. Kalkmalingen tørker på halvtimen, så det er superenkelt å forandre på interiøret. Profileringene ble malt i min nye yndlingsfarge. Ønsker dere ei flott uke videre.

Sunday, June 16, 2013. A couple of Chalk Paint projects. This trolley was pretty sad looking before i got to it with some quarter strength duck egg blue, and pure white chalk paint. i gave it 2 coats of each and sanded the edges.

Bees wax candles and summer sketches. Designing and the first drawings for the candle labels. The Summer has turned into Autumn and the mornings are getting chilly with a real Autumn feel in the air. The evenings are cooling down and tonight I have lit the fire for the first time. Only a few weeks ago it was really hot and I went for a last swim in the sea.
